Neville Longbottom: It Takes Bravery

Neville Longbottom had to suffer through some true hardships which is not highlighted enough in the movies. Neville is “that kid”. The kid that everyone made fun of, avoided, and was simply unlucky. But because of the challenges that Neville faced, he acquired a unique strength that few can understand because most have never experienced. And that strength became crucial in not only the fight against Voldemort, but how Neville was able to overcome his limits, reputation, and earn his place as a true Gryffindor.

Draco Malfoy: The Wrong Choices

Draco Malfoy always struck me as someone who could have been a good person. He wants to make his family proud, unfortunately, his family members aren’t model citizens. I wanted to highlight Draco’s arch as a character. He doesn’t become a hero, but he does go from being a narcissistic brat to someone who cares about the fate of people around him. And considering that Draco surrounded himself exclusively with cultists, murderers, and racists, that’s a hard change to make. It’s not easy to change when ALL your peers are encouraging you to stay the same.
